Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on the discount-cosmetics.net website, please scroll through this screen, read them carefully and print a copy for future reference. By placing an order on this website you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

Pricing and availability

All product prices are listed in (€) Euro's

Prices with a marked RRP (Recommended Retail Price) refer to prices the manufacturer recommends goods are sold at in the UK market. Where a manufacturer's RRP is not readily available then this is a guideline price based on charges that retailers within the UK market are currently offering the same product.

We reserve the right to change any advertised price before accepting an order. All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled you may be offered an alternative or given a refund for the unavailable product(s).

Product Details

We guarantee that all advertised products are 100% genuine. These are goods usually destined for the UK or US market but we may also sometimes offer 'parallel' market goods destined for sale in other countries. In these cases the packaging may vary to that of normal UK/EU stock. Where possible, these details will be identified clearly against the product description.

We may also sometimes sell unboxed items or split multi-pack items down for individual sale. We may also supply goods considered as 'seconds' where the packaging is marked or scratched but where the products themselves are 'as new'.

We may also sell 'testers' or 'samples'. We do not provide any testers or samples free of charge. These are the same regular products that may be packaged or labelled differently.

We make every reasonable effort to ensure all products marked as such are clearly identified on the system. By submitting your order to discount-cosmetics.net, you are confirming that you are aware of this fact and do not consider this to be a problem with ordering and receiving these products.

Images and Photo's

All products listed on the site will have an associated image or photograph, these are for reference only and should be considered illustrative. Whilst we have made every reasonable effort to provide a true representation of the colours of the listed products, the way in which your screen displays the pictures means that variations may occur between the image on your screen and the item itself.

Order Processing

We are able to accept orders from customers in the UK, the European Union and selected other countries. Those countries we are able to service are as follows:

All orders received Monday to Friday by 1:00pm (UK local time) will be processed on the same day. Orders received over the weekend or Bank Holidays will be processed on the next full working day.

The steps required to create a contract of sale between you and discount-cosmetics.net are as follows:

1. You place an order for your products on the discount-cosmetics.net website by pressing the submit button at the end of the checkout process.

2. After you have submitted your order you will be sent an automated e-mail confirming receipt of your order with discount-cosmetics.net. This is not a formal acceptance from discount-cosmetics.net. We reserve the right to decline any order.

3. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and discount-cosmetics.net will take place once we despatch to you the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it.

Non-acceptance of an order may occur as a result of one of the following reasons:

o The product(s) you ordered being unavailable from stock

o We are unable to obtain card authorisation for your payment

o We have reason to suspect the authenticity of the order placed

o An order is received from a country not listed on our website

Payment Terms

We accept payment by all major credit card and debit card providers and PayPal.

If paying by credit or debit card then the main invoice address details must match the cardholders address in full. If the address cannot be verified then the order may be refused.

You may nominate a different delivery address to the invoice address should you wish to do so at the checkout stage. Please note that we cannot allow cross-border transactions. Your order must be sent to the same country as your credit or debit card is billed to.

Credit card, debit card and Paypal payments are all processed via our secure payments provider.

We will take all reasonable care to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when ordering from discount-cosmetics.net.

Delivery Charges

UK Shipping Rates:

Product purchases over €40.00 are delivered free of any shipping charges

Product purchases under €40.00 are charged a flat rate of just £2.99 for shipping

EU and Worldwide Shipping Rates:

EU orders will incur a standard shipping charge of €4.99

Non-EU orders will incur a standard shipping charge of €5.99

Delivery Information

We aim to despatch your order within 24 hours of receiving authorised payment.

Please allow 3-5 working days for standard delivery in the UK & Europe and up to 15 working days for delivery elsewhere.

Please note that the majority of orders will require a signature upon delivery. If no-one is at home during the daytime then you may wish to nominate a different delivery address such as a work or a relative / friend / neighbours address.

All overseas shipments will require a signature on delivery.

Due to the nature of ordering on the internet and our delivery options it is not possible for you to specify a delivery date.

discount-cosmetics.net cannot be held liable for delivery delays for reasons outside our control including, but not limited to, industrial disputes, postal strikes, weather, war, natural disasters.

Cancellation of Orders

In accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive you have the right to cancel any order from the time you place the order to within seven working days from delivery (starting the day after you receive the goods). This is to provide you with a "cooling off period" should you have changed your mind.

The goods must be returned unused, unopened and in the same condition as they were when originally despatched by discount-cosmetics.net. We will not accept for exchange or refund any item which has been used, opened or is not in the exact condition in which it was despatched by us.

If you should wish to cancel an order then contact us via email. If your order has not yet been despatched then we will cancel your order from our system and there will be no charge.

If your order has already been despatched you will need to take delivery of the goods and then your order cancellation will be dealt with in accordance with our Returns Procedure below.

These conditions do not affect your statutory rights

Damaged or Faulty Goods

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. In the unlikely event that any item you receive is damaged or faulty then please follow the Returns Procedure stated below for a full replacement or refund.

Returns Procedure

To return an item you must contact us by email to confirm which item(s) are being returned stating your order reference and the reason for return. You are requested to return the goods by second class post (we strongly recommend you use an insured carrier such as Royal Mail Recorded Delivery) and you will be required to pay the cost of returning the goods. Any free gifts associated with an item must also be returned at the same time.

Please return the item(s) to the address at the bottom of the page along with the original packing note and the reason for return. Refunds will be made to the original charged account within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods.

If you are returning the item(s) because you have changed your mind we will refund the cost of the goods only. There will be no refund for the original shipping costs of the goods from discount-cosmetics.net to you or the cost to yourself of shipping the goods back to discount-cosmetics.net. Where the original order qualified for Free Shipping then we reserve the right to recover our original shipping costs to you up to a maximum of £10.00

If you are returning the item(s) because they are damaged or faulty then the refund shall be for the goods and all shipping costs which will include a re-imbursement to you for the cost of returning the goods to discount-cosmetics.net

Security

When placing an order with discount-cosmetics.net your personal details are sent to us using 128bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. This provides a secure link between your computer and our site when transferring this information.

Credit card, debit card and Paypal payments are all processed via our secure payments provider. None of your card details get passed on to us only the outcome of the transaction.

We will take all reasonable care to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when ordering from discount-cosmetics.net.

From time to time we may send you e-mail notifications of new arrivals or promotions from discount-cosmetics.net. In all e-mails you will be given the option to be removed from our mailing list. If you do unsubscribe then you will not be sent future correspondence unless you request to be added to our mailing list at a later date.

Cookies are used on this shopping site but only to keep track of your shopping cart once you have selected items for purchase.

Sales on this web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions, and no amendments will be accepted by us.
